5. Acceptable Use Policy
5.1 Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all users of PalletPOS, Pallet Back Office and related THYNKR services.
Customers must ensure their authorised users comply with it.
5.2 Prohibited Uses
The Services must not be used to:
- violate applicable law;
- commit fraud or facilitate deceptive transactions;
- process stolen or unauthorised payment credentials;
- distribute malware;
- interfere with platform security;
- probe or scan systems without authorisation;
- gain unauthorised access to accounts or data;
- impersonate another person or business without authority;
- infringe intellectual-property rights;
- transmit unlawful threats or harassment;
- send unlawful spam or direct marketing;
- scrape or bulk-extract data without permission;
- bypass usage, authentication, payment or security controls;
- use the Services to develop malicious software;
- upload content or Personal Data the user has no right to process;
- manipulate sales or transaction data for unlawful purposes; or
- otherwise misuse payment or communications functionality.
5.3 Security Testing
Security research, vulnerability scanning or penetration testing may only be conducted with THYNKR’s prior written authorisation and within an agreed scope.
5.4 Fair Use and Resource Protection
THYNKR may apply reasonable technical limits to prevent activity that disproportionately degrades the Services, threatens stability, creates security risk or imposes abnormal infrastructure load.
Commercial plan limits will be communicated where applicable.
5.5 Enforcement
THYNKR may investigate suspected violations and restrict or suspend relevant activity where reasonably necessary.
Where practicable and safe, THYNKR will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy non-urgent violations.
Serious illegal, fraudulent or security-threatening activity may result in immediate suspension or termination.
