A complete retail till for one location.
Starter is the PalletPOS retail POS for a single shop with one till. You get the same native Android and Windows app as every other plan, connected to a cloud Back Office and your own ecommerce website.
There is no monthly software fee. You pay a one-off activation fee of £10 + VAT per location, and card payments carry payment-processing charges. Nothing else is charged unless you add an extra terminal or an add-on.

Questions about PalletPOS Starter.
Is PalletPOS Starter really £0 per month?
Yes. Starter has no monthly software fee: £0 a month + VAT per location. There is a one-off activation fee of £10 + VAT per location, and payment-processing charges apply to card payments. Optional add-ons, such as WhatsApp or Voice ordering, are only charged if you add them.
What does the £10 activation fee cover?
It's a one-off fee of £10 + VAT per location that confirms real businesses and covers setting up your workspace. It is not a monthly charge. Under our Refund & Cancellation Policy, an activation fee may become non-refundable once the setup work has started.
How many terminals are included?
Starter includes 1 terminal per location. A terminal is a registered till that takes sales; Back Office logins don't count towards it.
Can I add another till?
Yes. Extra terminals are £15 + VAT a month each, per location. Or move to Retail, which includes 2 terminals per location.
Are card payments included?
Yes. Built-in payments through PalletPOS Payments are included in Starter, at the till and in your ecommerce website. Each payment is matched to its sale. Payment-processing charges apply to card payments, and card rates are confirmed at setup.
Are there transaction fees?
There is no PalletPOS software fee on Starter. Card payments carry payment-processing charges, confirmed at setup for your country; contact us for the rates where you trade. If you add WhatsApp or Voice ordering, usage beyond the add-on allowance is charged per order or per minute.
Is the ecommerce website included?
Yes. Starter includes a free ecommerce website at yourname.palletpos.com, using the same products and prices as your till. Running the store on your own domain is included from the Retail plan. See the ecommerce website.
Can I use PalletPOS on Android?
Yes. The till is a native app for Android tablets and POS terminals, including SUNMI devices. See Download.
Does PalletPOS work on Windows?
Yes. The same native till app runs on Windows PCs, built from the same codebase as the Android app.
Does PalletPOS manage stock?
Starter includes basic stock for your products. Full stock management and reporting come with Retail, and multi-location central stock with Complete.
Is WhatsApp ordering included?
No. WhatsApp ordering is an optional add-on for Starter: £29 + VAT a month per location for 200 orders, then £0.20 per completed order.
Is Voice ordering included?
No. Voice ordering is an optional add-on for Starter: £79 + VAT a month per location for 300 minutes and a dedicated number, then £0.30 per minute.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. Move to Retail, Wholesale or Complete when you need more terminals, full stock, reporting, trade accounts or a custom domain, and keep the same workspace.
Can wholesalers use PalletPOS?
Yes. Starter is for retail counters. Trade accounts, tier and case pricing, credit, On Account sales, statements and invoices are on the Wholesale and Complete plans.
